TAX DEDUCTION FINDER & PROBLEM SOLVER

Our Tax Organizer is designed to help you maximize your deductions and minimize your problems in preparing and filing your tax return. The organizer is revised annually to be compatible with the ever-changing tax laws.  The organizer currently posted is primarily for the 2008 tax year, although it can be used for other years.  The 2009 version will be loaded sometime after October 15.  The organizer is comprised of seven parts, each developed to assist you in collecting relevant tax information needed to properly prepare your tax return.

Access any of the seven parts by double clicking on the underlined part number and print if needed. Mail the completed pages along with any required documentation (listed in Part 7) to this office for immediate service. You will be contacted by phone, fax or e-mail with any questions, comments, or suggestions. If you e-mail our office advising us that you have sent your tax materials, we will notify you of their receipt.

Part 1: Required For All Returns - Includes Instructions, Taxpayer Information, Dependents, Estimated Taxes, IRA Activity, Miscellaneous Income and Refund Direct Deposit Information.

Part 2: Dependents, Interest & Dividend Income and Stock Sales

Part 3: Needed If Itemizing Your Deductions - Medical Expenses, Deductible Taxes, Interest Deductions and Child Care Expenses.

Part 4: Needed If Itemizing Your Deductions - Charitable Contributions, Education Expenses, Miscellaneous Deductions and Casualty Losses.

Part 5: Travel Expenses, Away-from-home Expenses, Moving Expenses, Home Sale & Purchase and Office-in-the-home.

Part 6: Rental & Business Income

Part 7: Required For All Returns - Final checklist of documents and records needed.
